Faithionary Privacy Policy

Plain language, minimal collection.

This policy explains how Faithionary handles information for the mobile beta and the Faithionary website. We want the product to feel personal without being intrusive.

Last updated: April 17, 2026

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to the Faithionary mobile app, TestFlight beta builds, and the Faithionary website. The current mobile beta does not require a user account for core reading and study flows.

2. Information we may receive

  • Support messages you send us. If you email support, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, device details, screenshots, and bug descriptions.
  • Crash and diagnostic data. If crash reporting is enabled for a beta or production build, we may receive diagnostic information through Sentry such as device model, operating system version, app version, timestamps, and crash stack traces so we can investigate bugs.
  • Content delivery and download requests. When the app downloads packaged study content, our hosting providers may process standard request metadata such as IP address, timestamps, and basic delivery logs needed to serve files reliably and securely.
  • Optional website sign-in. If you choose to sign in on the Faithionary website, the authentication providers and services involved in signing you in may process the information required to create and maintain your session.

3. What we do not use your data for

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not run third-party advertising inside the mobile app.
  • We do not use crash data for advertising or cross-app tracking.
  • We do not intentionally send the content of your private notes or annotations to crash reporting services.

4. How information is used

  • to deliver app content and downloadable study packs
  • to investigate crashes, failed downloads, and broken flows
  • to respond to support requests and beta feedback
  • to keep the website sign-in experience working if you choose to use it

5. Data retention

Notes, annotations, and reading state created in the current mobile beta are primarily stored on your device. Support emails and crash reports may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to diagnose issues, support testers, and improve product stability.

6. Tracking and children

Faithionary does not use ad-tech tracking for the mobile beta. If that changes in the future, we will update this policy before enabling it. If a child uses Faithionary, a parent or guardian may contact us with privacy questions using the address below.

7. Contact us

Privacy and developer contact questions can be sent to dev@faithionary.com. Support requests can be sent to support@faithionary.com.
